    On January 11, 2025, DRYEYE Film presented Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban™ in Concert at Peugeot Arena in Bratislava, as part of the official Harry Potter™ Film Concert Series. This unique event featured a full screening of the third film in the saga, accompanied live by the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of renowned Dutch conductor Ernst van Tiel.

    For this performance, the orchestra was joined by a 40-member chorus, adding vocal depth and dramatic intensity to John Williams’s emotionally rich and thematically complex score. The combination of orchestra and choir brought an added dimension to the film’s darker tone, enhancing key scenes such as the Dementors’ chilling presence and the powerful Time-Turner sequence.

    Produced by CineConcerts and Warner Bros. Discovery and promoted by DRYEYE Film led locally by Tibor Engler, the concert marked the third consecutive Harry Potter live-film screening in Bratislava. It further established DRYEYE’s reputation as a regional leader in delivering high-caliber symphonic film experiences across Slovakia and Central Europe.

    Charlie Chaplin™ in Concert

    Charlie Chaplin™ in Concert – conducted by Tibor Engler – is a mesmerizing celebration of Chaplin’s artistry through the unique fusion of live orchestral performance and silent cinema. On 20 February 2025, audiences at Prague’s historic Lucerna Cinema witnessed two of Chaplin’s silent classics—The Kid and The Idle Class—brought to life with a live musical accompaniment performed by the Prague Conservatory Symphony Orchestra under Engler’s baton.

    Both films feature Chaplin’s own original compositions, interpreted live to enhance narrative depth and natural emotion on screen. Under Tibor Engler’s direction—his first major conducting engagement—the performance elevated the cinematic experience, transporting viewers back to the golden era of silent film .

    Coverage from local music press noted that “the magic of Chaplin’s films came alive” thanks to Engler’s skillful interplay of pacing, humor, and orchestral color. The event highlighted Engler’s dual expertise as a musician and seasoned tour manager, evidencing his potential as an emerging conductor within the film-concert genre.
