On 20 February 2025, audiences at Prague’s historic Lucerna Cinema witnessed two of Chaplin’s silent classics—The Kid and The Idle Class—brought to life with a live musical accompaniment performed by the Prague Conservatory Symphony Orchestra under Engler’s baton.

Both films feature Chaplin’s own original compositions, interpreted live to enhance narrative depth and natural emotion on screen. Under Tibor Engler’s direction—his first major conducting engagement—the performance elevated the cinematic experience, transporting viewers back to the golden era of silent film .
