About

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone™ in Concert – promoted by DRYEYE Film in collaboration with CineConcerts and Warner Bros. Discovery – brought the enchantment of J.K. Rowling’s beloved fantasy to life in Bratislava, with a full symphonic performance accompanying a live screening of the film. The event, held at the NTC (later PEUGEOT Arena), featured the 90-member Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra performing John Williams’s iconic score live to the projected film – a unique blend of visual storytelling and musical spectacle.

Organized under the direction of Tibor and Igor Engler, the concert marked the first part of the official Harry Potter Film Concert Series in Slovakia. As Tibor Engler noted, this event represented a bold leap in cultural programming: “modern audiences in Slovakia had not experienced such a project before,” and it successfully established a high-profile tradition in the country.

Celebrated by audiences and critics alike, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in Concert underscored DRYEYE Film’s ability to merge cinematic narrative with live orchestral performance, setting the stage for future events in the Czech Republic, Hungary, and beyond.
