Charlie Chaplin™ in Concert – conducted by Tibor Engler – is a mesmerizing celebration of Chaplin’s artistry through the unique fusion of live orchestral performance and silent cinema. On 20 February 2025, audiences at Prague’s historic Lucerna Cinema witnessed two of Chaplin’s silent classics—The Kid and The Idle Class—brought to life with a live musical accompaniment performed by the Prague Conservatory Symphony Orchestra under Engler’s baton.
Both films feature Chaplin’s own original compositions, interpreted live to enhance narrative depth and natural emotion on screen.
